January 24, 2008 - Providing safe storage and transportation of delicate products and materials, full density, MDI-based CHEMTHANE 8010 is used in automotive and truck manufacturing for in-process racks, material handling racks, and storage and transportation of molded body parts, glass panels, and interior trim. Product offers Shore A hardness of 90-100, 1A:2B mix ratio by volume, and 6 minute cure time. CHEMTHANE 8010 can be formulated to meet specific hardness and abrasion resistance of application.

New Wear Resistant Polyurethane is Ideal for Dunnage Applications


St. Louis, MO -- CHEMLINE announces its new CHEMTHANE 8010 polyurethane for creating durable dunnage parts. This product is full density, MDI-based polyurethane elastomer. This information is according to John Henningsen, spokesperson for the manufacturer.

CHEMTHANE 8010 dunnage is molded polyurethane that is used for safe storage and transportation of delicate products and materials. This product is used extensively in Automotive and Truck manufacturing for in-process racks, material handling racks, storage and transportation of metal stampings, molded body parts, glass panels, interior trim and large power train or suspension components.

Parts created with CHEMTHANE 8010 are created with standard RIM (reaction injection molding) equipment. This product offers high Shore A hardness (90-100), 1A:2B mix ratio by volume and a six minute cure time. CHEMTHANE 8010 can be formulated to meet the specific hardness and abrasion resistance of an individual client's application.
