They provide consistent voltage output from 10.6–12 Vdc; offer stable charge retention for up to 30 days, depending upon chemistry; and can be recharged within 1 hr. UL/CSA approved units can be made from lithium, Li-Ion, NiMH, NiCad, Alkaline, and lead acid chemistries, while packs can be made from ABS or other plastics.

Custom designed battery packs featuring a positive locking mechanism for proper insertion and water-tight construction for use in clinical environ-ments are available from Aved Electronics, Inc. of Lowell, Massachusetts.
Aved Custom Battery Packs are designed to assure proper insertion and feature positive, snap-in locking, with water-tight construction, for use in clinical environments. Providing consistent high voltage output between 10.6 and 12 vdc, stable charge retention for up to 30 days, depending upon chemistry, these battery packs can typically be recharged within one hour.
Fabricated to OEM customer requirements, fully tested, and UL/CSA approved, Aved Custom Battery Packs can be made from lithium, Li-Ion, NiMH, NiCad, Alkaline, and lead acid chemistries. Designed to fit inside or snap onto existing products and instruments, these packs can be made from ABS or other plastics and can be ultrasonically welded for durability.
