DEER PARK, NY SEPT.27, 2007 - New ewa-marine flexible waterproof PVC housings are designed to protect professional HD video cameras to depths of up to 33 feet (1Atmosphere) as well as in the wettest environments above water. The watertight housings allow videographers to make professional videos while diving or snorkeling as well as while boating, swimming or canoeing. New ewa housings are available that fit popular HD video camera models made by Sony, Canon, Panasonic, JVC and others. MSRP's range from $349 to $1295 depending on the HD camera model to be operated and protected.
The flexible watertight flexible PVC design allows users to operate the camera's touch controls easily without missing any important details. The housings, fabricated of double-laminated PVC, have an integrated, optically neutral flat glass port that fits in front of the HD camera lens to preserve its sharpness and avoid introducing distortion. A non-corrosive and seawater-resistant clamping rail fits together and is tightened by means of three screw-knobs for perfect a waterproof seal so that videographers can make sharp, clear, quality underwater videos. Silicone or other sealants are not required.
The housings are supplied in a handy yellow-case which has a water-proof interior and zippered side pocket.
