Featuring compact cabinet design with 12 1/8 x 23 5/16 in. footprint, ECU Series water temperature control units incorporate integrated Incology(TM) immersion heater that maintains leaving water temperature range of 32-250°F. ECU Series also features PID controller with process and setpoint LED readouts, adjustable low supply water pressure switch, automatic vent sequence, and 150 psi pressure relief valve. Cast iron process pumps are available from ¾-7½ hp.

Colortronic Will Feature Economical Water TCU at NPE 2006
Flint, MI -Colortronic's new line of water TCU's is ideal for plastics processors who need a dependable unit at an affordable price. The ECU will be on display at NPE 2006 held at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL from June 19-23 and will be at booth number 5026.
Colortronic's ECU Series also features a compact, space-saving cabinet design that is ideal for any application where space is a concern. Its footprint is only 12 1/8" by 23 5/16". Despite its size, the Incology(TM) immersion heater inside is powerful enough to maintain an operating leaving water temperature range of 32°F to 250°F (0-121°C).
The ECU Series also features an off-the-shelf PID temperature controller with Process and Setpoint LED readouts. The graphic control panel includes indicator and warning lights and an independent high temperature safety thermostat ensuring safe operation. Other standard features include an adjustable low supply water pressure switch, automatic vent sequence, and a 150 psi pressure relief valve. Cast iron process pumps are available from ¾ hp through 7 ½ hp with SICB/carbon mechanical seals.
