NEMA 3P, Type 3142 Filter Fans provide protection against windblown dust, rain, and sleet. They are UL and CE recognized, and come in 6 x 6 in. and 11 x 11 in. sizes. Both sizes are offered in powder-coated, cold rolled steel or stainless steel housings with 115 or 230 V 50/60 Hz AC fan motors. Motors can be selected for unimpeded air flow of 94 or 195 cfm. Slanted filter pads allow maximum air flow. Fans are suited for electrical and electronic cabinet cooling.

NEMA 3P Type 3142 Water Resistant Filter Fans
Haewa Corporation of Duluth, GA is adding a new series of NEMA 3P Type 3142 water resistant filter fans to its extensive offering of climate control products. Type 3142 series filter fans are designed for electrical and electronic cabinet cooling in indoor or outdoor applications. They provide protection against windblown dust, rain and sleet, are UL and CE recognized and come in two standard sizes, 6" x 6" and 11" x 11". Both sizes are available in powder coated cold rolled steel or stainless steel housings with either 115 V or 230 V 50/60 Hz AC fan motors. Fan motors can be selected for an unimpeded air flow of 94 CFM or 195 CFM and carry UL, CSA and VDE approvals.
These uniquely designed and patented filter fans feature slanted filter pads that allow maximum air flow with minimum size. Filter pads are secured in place by a retainer that permits quick filter changes from the outside of a cabinet without interruption of the cabinet's internal functioning. Each size of water resistant filter fan is complemented by intake / exhaust filters of the same type and size. Standard finishes for cold rolled steel and stainless steel filter fans are RAL 7032 epoxy-polyester powder coating and brushed exteriors respectively. Type 3142 water resistant filter fans are shipped complete with housing, motor, filter pad, gasketing and mounting hardware. Other sizes, voltages and CFM requirements are available upon request.
