Water Ram Clears Clogged Drains with Shock Action

Hydraulic Manufacturing Company announces important improvements in their Kinetic Water Ram, a device that generates a shock wave to open clogged pipes. The shock wave is created by firing an environmentally safe compressed air charge into a clogged sink, tub, or floor drain. This shock wave bypasses vents and goes around bends to reach the stoppage with only 2% loss of power. Built into the Ram is a self-contained pump and pressure gauge so the operator can select the right amount of force for the job.

The new Model-G Kinetic Water Ram has a redesigned triggering device that gives greater impact when the compressed air charge is released. In addition, the grip handle has been enlarged for a more comfortable operation. The tool has an attractive plated body and comes with a variety of accessories, including expansion plugs and a sturdy metal tool box.

An optional toilet attachment screws onto the front of the Ram to turn it into a powerful plunger. The specially designed attachment enables the operator to position the cone in the bowl to get a tighter seal. This allows the blockage to be struck with greater impact and no splash back.
