Hygienic design is compliant with GAMP, ISPE, cGMP, and FDA requirements. Units sanitize water using electrolytically generated ozone with UV ozone destruction, or hot water at 185°F. Conductivity monitoring, temperature control, and loop flow meter are also included.

NEXUS Brings Pharmaceutical Water at Your Door
Paris - Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, leading supplier of standard pharmaceutical world-known water systems, such as QUATTRO®, ORION® and POLARIS, launches NEXUS®, a new system to deliver water faster and safer for the pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetics & veterinary industries.
Until now, storage and distribution systems have been always custom designed for each application, with long engineering lead times and validation procedures. NEXUS® changes all that by bringing standardization and over 20 years of research within one standardized system.
NEXUS® is a range of standard, packaged, pre-validated distribution systems for Purified Water and Water For Injection for flow rates up to 30m3/h (132 USgpm). Each package is complete with a booster pump, 316L stainless steel pipe work (ASME BPE as optional), double tube sheet heat exchanger and control panel. The hygienic design and fabrication in 316L stainless steel are fully compliant with GAMP, ISPE, cGMP and FDA requirements. To ensure continuous water quality and quantity, NEXUS® comes with conductivity monitoring, temperature control and loop flow meter (options for TOC and ozone monitoring).
NEXUS® offers a choice of sanitisation methods by either using state of-the-art electrolytically generated ozone with UV ozone destruction, or hot water at 85°C/185°F (121 °C/249°F for WFI). Both sanitization solutions are recommended within the pharmaceutical industry for their sanitising effect efficiency and consistency throughout time.
Every NEXUS® unit is supplied with a full standardized validation pack, including Functional Design Specification, Design Qualification, Installation Qualification and Factory Acceptance Test documentation which gives peace of mind for the project and quality engineers.
