Non-metallic enclosure allows wireless access point to be placed on any wall surface. Combining accessibility with concealed key lock for security, unit supports various access point designs and mounting straps enable access point to be positioned vertically or horizontally. Communications cabling can be fed from wall directly into back of enclosure, and twist-outs accommodate Eclipse(TM) Series Workstation Raceway where backfeeding is not possible.

Wall-Mount WiFi Enclosure
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (January 13, 2005) -Wiremold/Legrand offers a nonmetallic wall-mount enclosure for wireless access points. This enclosure allows the access point to be placed on any wall surface, and combines easy accessibility with a concealed key lock for security. The cover design also reduces the visual impact of WiFi equipment.
The wall enclosure is fully user-configurable and supports a wide variety of access point designs. Mounting straps enable the access point to be positioned vertically or horizontally for optimal signal coverage.
Communications cabling can be fed from the wall directly into the back of the enclosure. For surfaces such as block and brick where backfeeding is impossible, the enclosure has twist-outs that accommodate the Eclipse(TM) Series Workstation Raceway. The wall-mount enclosure is listed to U.S. and Canadian safety standards by U.L.
