January 18, 2008 - Compatible with data logging devices to track work area temperature history, wall-mount transmitter offers remote control capabilities and employs encapsulated, wire-wound 100 ohm platinum RTD with 0.00385 ohm/ohm/°C coefficient. Fixed range and programmable models are available, both of which can be field-mounted into standard single-gang electrical conduit box. Transmitter covers 40 to 80°F range and offers 4-20 mA output with accuracy of 0.1% of span (typ).

Conax Technologies Introduces Wall Mount Transmitter for Accurate Temperature Monitoring of Industrial Workspace


Conax Technologies introduces a new wall mount transmitter that offers highly accurate temperature monitoring of industrial workspaces. It is ideal for clean rooms, calibration and metrology laboratories, close tolerance machining centers and medical laboratories. In addition to it high accuracy, the wall mount transmitter offers remote control capabilities and is compatible with data logging devices to track work area temperature history.

The sensor apparatus is a high accuracy, encapsulated, wire-wound 100 ohm platinum RTD with a 0.00385 ohm/ohm/degrees C coefficient. The transmitter offers a 4-20 mA output with an accuracy of 0.1% of SPAN typical. The supply voltage is 8-38 VDC, polarity protected. Fixed range and programmable models are available. Typical temperature range is 40 degrees F to 80 degrees F(4.4 degrees C to 26.7 degrees C). The transmitter field mounts into a standard single-gang electrical conduit box.
