Advantech Launches the UbiQ-480 Wall-Mount Touch-Computer for eHome Applications

The UbiQ-480 features a powerful built-in FreeScale i.MX31 CPU running Microsoft Windows® CE 5.0. Its 7" touch-screen, with its 16:9 true-color TFT LCD panel, provides crisp graphical performance. A built-in camera, speaker and microphone allow the UbiQ-480 to function as an intercom, facilitating communication throughout a building via direct analog audio interface or LAN. WiFi and IR capability make remote control of the unit simple and easy. Finally, the variety of the UbiQ-480's I/O interfaces, such as LAN, RS-232, RS-485, USB, DI/O and easily programmable hotkeys increase its expansion flexibility significantly.
