Foxfire Launches WMS Express, a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Designed for Rapid Implementation

Features include pre-configured product, 90-day implementation, and optional Software as a Service (SaaS) pricing model

June 11, 2008 (Greenville, SC) - Foxfire announced the launch of a new product offering, WMS Express, at NA 2008. Foxfire's WMS Express is a preconfigured version of its award-winning, enterprise warehouse management system combined with a rapid implementation service plan that produces quick success.

WMS Express is ideal for warehouses and distribution centers that want to be up and running in as little as 90 days without custom modifications. Foxfire is targeting small and midsized warehouses as well as larger operations looking to implement a pilot program. These customers are typically looking for a basic but fully-functional warehouse management system (WMS) with key functionality. With WMS Express, users have the ability to go "paperless" including receiving, put away, inventory management, physical inventory, cycle counting, picking, packing, and shipping.

Dustin Caudell, vice president of sales & marketing for Foxfire, commented, "Foxfire has been successful in tier-1 warehouse environments for many years. We also believe that there is a large and addressable market for a basic, less-customized WMS." Caudell continued, "We've found there are many companies that fit this profile and have an immediate need that can be addressed through WMS Express." WMS Express is preconfigured, based on industry standards, straightforward to deploy, and expandable as warehouse needs change.

WMS Express is ideal for clients that want:
o the scope, fees, and implementation plan predefined
o to get started quickly and install the WMS basics in 90 days
o to grow with their product and expand functionality as needed
o to limit or eliminate costly custom modifications
o an all-inclusive package that includes software, services, and training
o an optional monthly business model (Software as a Service)

Foxfire's Software as a Service (SaaS) is an alternative commercial model that allows customers to pay monthly. Instead of absorbing all project costs at one time, the SaaS model allows users to normalize their investment with equal payments over a period of time without utilizing a third-party leasing provider.

WMS Express functionality-highlights include limiting visibility to data based on user roles, detailed productivity reporting by activity, inventory comparisons' snapshots, dynamic picklanes for temporary use, and rule based load- and auto-generation. Foxfire technology is used by some of the world's best run distribution and manufacturing operations including: Intertape Polymers Group, Alltel, Windstream, Glamorise Foundations, United States Facilities Management, Capacity LLC, A Beka Book, Shogren Hosiery, and Edwards Garment.
