August 2, 2004 - CoolPointâ„¢ assures consistency in measuring, balancing, and transmitting water flows in processing and manufacturing plants. Available in pipe sizes from ¼â€“2 in., meter provides flow rates from 0.40–200 gpm and has no moving parts to stick or coat. All features are selectable by pushing buttons on meter face. Repeatability is ±1% of actual flow, making it suited for connector centrifuge water applications, chillers, and heat exchangers.

Universal Flow Monitors, Inc. To Exhibit Coolpointâ„¢ Vortex Shedding Meter At ISA Expo 2004

Universal Flow Monitors, Inc., exhibiting in Booth 2801 at ISA Expo 2004, will present CoolPointâ„¢, an inexpensive vortex shedding flowmeter for water.

The CoolPointâ„¢ meter is designed to assure consistency in measuring, balancing and transmitting water flows in processing and manufacturing plants. Repeatability is +/-1% of actual flow. This high degree of repeatability results in efficient transmission and control of flows in centrifuge water applications, chillers and heat exchangers.

CoolPointâ„¢ is easy to specify, install, and use and is economically priced. The vortex shedding meter has no moving parts to stick or coat.

The CoolPointâ„¢ meter is available in pipe sizes ranging from 1/4 inch to 2 inches, providing flow rates ranging from four-tenths of a gallon per minute to 200 gallons per minute. The meter is sold by pipe size, and all other features are selectable by pushing buttons on the meter face. Wiring is simplified by use of a pin connector optionally sold with the product. Prices range from $350 for the 1/4 inch to $700 for the 2 inch model.
