January 22, 2002 - Model 323 Electrostatic Voltmeter performs highly sensitive voltage measurements using various probes with different aperture orientations (side, end) and body types (round, square). It is capable of making accurate, noncontacting measurements of electrostatic potentials of 0 to ±100 V over probe-to-surface distances. Speed Control adjusts speed/noise tradeoff of AC response, and Drift/Spacing Null Adjustment minimizes variation in zero offset voltage.

Trek, Inc. Features Its High-Sensitivity, DC Stable Model 323 Electrostatic Voltmeter

The TREK Model 323 Electrostatic Voltmeter performs highly sensitive voltage measurements using a variety of TREK probes with various aperture orientations (side, end) and body types (round, square). The versatility of the Model 323 makes it useful for a variety of electrostatic applications including materials evaluation, charge accumulation on disk drive assemblies and other extremely sensitive ESD sensitive components.

Specifically designed for high voltage sensitivity applications, the TREK Model 323 is capable of making highly accurate, noncontacting measurement of electrostatic potentials of 0 to ±100 V over a wide range of probe-to-surface distances.

User accessible adjustments are provided on the TREK Model 323 to compensate for many sensitive testing conditions. A response Speed Control adjusts the speed/noise tradeoff of the AC response, while a Drift/Spacing Null Adjustment minimizes the variation in zero offset voltage as the probe to test surface spacing changes.

The front panel has an easy to read 3 1/2 digit LED display. The detected output voltage TREK Model 323 High-Sensitivity, DC Stable Electrostatic Voltmeter can be monitored through a 1:1 voltage monitor output and a switch selectable ratio of 10:1 or 20:1 voltage monitor output. TREK patented low impedance probes assure measurement accuracy essentially independent of probe-to-test surface spacing, humidity conditions, and ionization.
