Used for high force, oscillatory applications requiring sinusoidal motion, Part No. VCS12-1000-LB-C consists of open loop system driven by NCC moving coil type linear actuator and guided by 2 ceramic coated shafts sliding within 2 precision linear bushings. Each voice coil has 1.2 in. stroke and generates 100 lb continuous force (300 lb peak). Solution can be supplied with springs so that voice coil will operate as balanced spring mass system.

High Force Oscillatory Voice Coil Positioning Stage
H2W's voice coil positioning stage (P/N VCS12-1000-LB-C) is an open loop system that can be used for high force, oscillatory applications that require sinusoidal motion. The stage is driven by an NCC moving coil type linear actuator and is guided by two ceramic coated shafts sliding within two precision linear bushings. Each voice coil has a 1.2" [30.5 mm] stroke, generates 100 lbs [445 N] of continuous force and 300 lbs [1362 N] of peak force. It can be supplied with springs so that the voice coil will operate as a balanced spring mass system. Digital output linear encoders are available as an option.
