October 14, 2004 - Linear Voice Coil Actuator allows user to apply force directly in linear direction without mechanical conversion device such as ball screw or gearbox. Measuring 2.72 in. dia x 1.06 in. long, unit features low-mass, molded inner-moving coil and mounting holes. It can produce peak forces greater than 25 lb with approximately 170 W of power. Custom mountings and winding configurations are available.
