October 1, 2002 - Machine vises, available in two styles, provide jaw widths of 4 or 6 in. Twin station and MonoQuad (eight station)style designs feature fully machinable soft jaws and hardened and ground steel guideways. Mounting options include gooseneck adjustable strap clamps or Jergens Jigsawâ„¢ Interlocking Plate Fixturing System which optimizes productivity of machining centers by maximizing number of vises (and work pieces) on production run.

Twin Station and 'MonoQuad' Style; Feature Multiple Locating and Mounting Options

CLEVELAND, OH - September 4, 2002- A new line of machine vises has been introduced by Jergens, Inc. Two styles are available: a twin station design with either 4" or 6" jaw widths and a "MonoQuad" design featuring eight stations with either 4" or
6" jaw widths.

The twin station models have fully machinable soft jaws, a full 6" jaw travel and hardened and ground steel guideways. The vises have an unusually broad selection of mounting options, including gooseneck adjustable strap clamps or employing the Jergens Jigsawâ„¢ Interlocking Plate Fixturing System which optimizes the productivity of machining centers by maximizing the number of vises (and work pieces) on a production run.

The MonoQuad vises are also provided with fully machinable soft jaws, as well as hardened and ground steel guideways for long life.
