Vibrating probe is placed in fluid and electronics calculate viscosity from energy loss. User can also dip viscometer into sample for spot checking production consistency.

Resonet Viscometer-Any Fluid in Any Application
We are excited to introduce a simple maintenance free viscometer that can be used for either continuous process control or batch checking. Hydramotion viscometers are easy to operate and will measure viscosity values whether the fluid is as liquid as water or as viscous as tar. No modifications are necessary to measure viscosity for a full range of fluids. A simple vibrating probe is placed in the fluid and the electronics calculate the viscosity from the energy loss.
The output signal from the viscometer can be used to control various feeds in production processes such as heavy crude oils, paint lines, or ink manufacturing or you can simply dip the viscometer into a sample for spot checking production consistency. Special purpose viscometers are also available that will measure at temperatures up to 450 degrees C, pressures to 20,000 psi, viscosities as low as 0.05 cP, and as high as 1,000,000,000 cP!
