Niagara Caps & Plugs Introduces Full Line of Rectangular and Round Vinyl Grips for Use as Handle Covers, Tool Grips and Masking

(November 2003) – Niagara Caps & Plugs, Erie, Pennsylvania announces the introduction of its comprehensive line of vinyl grips. RF Series rectangular flat-end grips and RE Series rectangular round-end grips are designed for use as ball-valve handle covers, lever covers, tool grips, paint, plating, and mask covers, and for other applications. VC Series round vinyl grips are designed to provide a secure fit on handles, covers, steel tubing, and as masks, according to Niagara Caps & Plugs. Founded in 1953, Niagara is celebrating its 50th anniversary year as a plastics injection molder.
RF Series rectangular flat-end grips are available in 61 basic sizes with inside thickness measurements from 1/16†to 1†and a wide range of inside widths from 3/8†to 4â€. Maximum length ranges from 2†to 4-1/2†depending on part number. FE Series rectangular round-end grips are available in 55 basic sizes with inside thickness measurements from 1/16†to 5/8†and inside widths from 0.31†to 2.115â€. Maximum length ranges from 1†to 4-1/2†depending on part number. VC Series round grips are available in 41 basic sizes with an inner diameters from 0.187†to 4-3/4†and a maximum length of 5.5†for all part numbers. Minimum length for all Niagara Caps & Plugs’ vinyl grips is 1/4". Standard lengths are determined by the customer, and length may be adjusted in increments of 1/16â€, Niagara Caps & Plugs states.
Secondary operations are available with RF, RE, and VC Series vinyl grips, including printing, punching, and slitting. Niagara vinyl grips come in standard black or a variety of optional colors.
