September 29, 2008 - Suitable for use in outside weathering applications, Walplax 200 high temperature vinyl compound can be colored in dark colors, such as green, blue, black, without loss of physical properties. Thermoforming can be done on traditional tooling designed for vinyl use. Target uses include storage pods, exterior shutters and trim, siding, and material wrapping.

Walton Plastics Adds High Temperature Material to PVC Product Line


Walton Hills, OH: Walton Plastics announces the addition of Walplax 200, a NEW high temperature vinyl compound, to its line of PVC extruded sheets and rolls.

Walplax 200 is a product outgrowth of Walton Plastics development for high temperature vinyl sheet material to replace high cost alternatives. This new material offers use temperatures (HDT 195°F+) far surpassing current vinyl formulations and most traditional plastic materials. An added benefit with the Walplax 200 is the material can be colored in dark colors such as green, blue, black without the loss of physical properties for use in outside weathering applications. Thermoforming can be done on traditional tooling designed for vinyl use. Target uses include storage pods, exterior shutters and trim, siding, material wrapping etc.
