OnSSI Launches IP Video Surveillance Platform for Small and Medium Businesses.

New ProSight-SMB 6.0 Provides Enterprise-Class Remote Monitoring, Video Archiving And After-The-Fact Investigation Capabilities.

Suffern, NY (February 11, 2008) - On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), the professional security industry's leading developer of non-proprietary, open architecture intelligent IP-based video surveillance software solutions, announces the launch of version 6.0 of the popular ProSight-SMB IP video surveillance platform for small and medium businesses.

"The new version of ProSight-SMB is the ideal IP video surveillance platform for small and medium businesses," said Mulli Diamant, VP of Sales at OnSSI. "More and more users - businesses, small schools and colleges, residential and other - are seeking a reliable, upgradeable software solution to replace their current proprietary DVR solution and enable them to easily access, identify, retrieve and export events and exceptions."

ProSight-SMB 6.0 incorporates many features previously available only on OnSSI's large-scale and enterprise-class platforms. The new version is bundled with OnSSI's NetGuard-EVS video client, which enables remote monitoring, after-the-fact investigation assisted by digital PTZ into recorded images and access to motion detection events, and export of evidence. In addition, users can access video over the web or LAN via the NetGuard video client, which requires no software download, further increasing usability.

Available from OnSSI in 4, 6, 9,16 and 25-camera single-server license packages, ProSight-SMB also enables operation as a background Windows® service, separating the video management and video monitoring functions and assuring the security and integrity of the video data.

As a 100% IP-based platform running non-proprietary hardware, OnSSI's ProSight-SMB provides universal camera and video encoder support - users can connect virtually any camera, IP or analog (via video encoder), from any leading manufacturer. Since ProSight-SMB runs on standard, off-the-shelf PCs, hardware components can be upgraded to accommodate for system growth and higher resolution cameras, thus future-proofing the user's investment in video surveillance and lowering the system's overall TCO.
