Atlona Technologies introduces two new products designed to seamlessly integrate your Desktop computer or laptop into your HD display system. The AT-HDMI500 and the AT-HDMI510VGA are video scalers with VGA inputs and HDMI outputs. These units will take any PC resolution (up to WUXGA and Mac ) and scale it to an HD resolution (up to 1080p). Both video and audio from the computer is carried down one cable to your HDTV.
Now users can easily and affordably connect their PC to their HDTV using HDMI, without spending a fortune on new video cards or expensive boxes that perform this task as a secondary function. These units can also take Component connections using a VGA breakout cable. The AT-HDMI510 has a local monitor loop out.
