Medit Inc Announces SnakeCam-12 - Small but Powerful Video Bore Scope.
Medit Inc, one of North America’s acknowledged leaders among online suppliers of equipment for RVI (remote visual inspection) and NDT (non-destructive testing), is pleased to introduce a new enhanced video bore scope in their line of products available for purchase on line – SnakeCam-12.
The new bore scope features a bigger diameter camera head equipped with 2 additional super bright LED lights and a high resolution camera (450,000 pixels), allowing for thorough inspections and excellent image quality. The SnakeCam-12 is suited for exploring diameter openings where the entry size is not limited and is at least 15 mm wide. It is ideal for inspecting ventilation shafts, air and cooling systems, behind walls and any other hard-to-reach area with poor or no lighting. It can also be used to check the condition of different types of water systems, as both the camera and probes are tightly sealed and waterproof.
The SnakeCam-12 is equipped with a small, light, hand-held image hub with a high-resolution color 3.5” LCD display to view live and still images right on site. They can also be transferred to a bigger monitor through a video output jack, saved to an SD card (included), or downloaded directly to a computer or laptop via a USB cable. The image hub features ergonomic design and large control buttons, enabling easy, intuitive and efficient operation in different inspection settings regardless of the operator’s skill level.
The video bore scope is compatible with flexible and flex-and-stay probes available in lengths from 1 to 3 meters (3.28’ to 9.84’), allowing for smooth and easy navigation through bended pipes or in obstructed spaces.
