Everest Vit® Unveils The World's Smallest Video Borescope

XL PROâ„¢ 3.9 mm Diameter Probe Goes Where No Other VideoProbe Can

Flanders, New Jersey - September 17, 2002 - Everest VIT, the leader in the development, sales, rental, training and on-site service of Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) equipment, has built the world's smallest, fully articulated video borescope with measurement capability. The 3.9 mm diameter XL PRO is designed to fit deep inside minute and virtually inaccessible spaces where inspections are crucial; the 3.9 mm probe has already been given US military approval for use on the sophisticated, safe and reliable Pratt & Whitney F100 fighter aircraft. This tool is appropriate for the inspection of any small space including those found in power and processing plants, automotive engines and covert operations / EOD (Explosive Ordnance Device or bomb squad).

"With the introduction of the 3.9mm XL PRO, Everest VIT has solidified its position as the leading developer of technologically advanced RVI tools," said Bruce A. Pellegrino, President and CEO of Everest VIT. "This probe not only goes into spaces that are previously unexplored, but also provides measurements and fully articulated views and delivers the best-quality and most complete views while there."

As with all XL PRO models, the 3.9mm probe provides high-quality imaging with Everest VIT's proprietary iViewâ„¢ system for easy image manipulation, measurement, saving and annotation. The 3.9mm probe is standard with All-Wayâ„¢ articulation and forward and side-view optical tips, which allow for inspections in all directions. The small, rigid camera head tip provides unprecedented maneuverability in tight spaces - 160º bend angle for full-directional viewing.

The 3.9 mm diameter XL PRO is available as a complete system - camera, pendant with LCD monitor, iViewâ„¢ and cord - or as an upgrade to an existing model.
