At booth SL3305, DVS presents the new members of its renowned family of video boards. Atomix processes uncompressed material in real-time from SD to 4K. Atomix and Atomix LT are ideally suited for all applications in the presentation, broadcast and high-resolution arena

Hanover/Las Vegas. At this year's NAB, from April 12th to the 15th, DVS enhances its established video board family with the introduction of Atomix and Atomix LT for high-end film, HDTV post production, broadcast applications and high-end presentation.

With Atomix, DVS unveils a new line of cutting-edge video boards. It supports every resolution from SD to 4K in real-time, and also includes 4K processing in real-time. Moreover, Atomix handles 2K stereoscopic material as well. With the diversity and flexibility of its feature range, the powerful DVS hardware complements any software solution. Atomix enables the play-out of uncompressed 4K in real-time with an up- and downscaler for format changes and uses 3D LUT to suit high-end film post production and presentations. Furthermore, key features include capture and play-out via dual-link 3.0 Gbps SDI, real-time 1D LUT, 16 embedded audio channels along with 16 AES/EBU channels.

Atomix LT is capable of processing any resolution from SD and HD to 2K in real-time and 4K in high speed. The new DVS PCIe video board provides an extensive feature set including two independent channels, but adds 3 Gbps on the two SDI inputs and outputs. Atomix LT is a perfect partner for HDTV post production, broadcast applications and presentations.

Juergen Heger, Senior Product Manager at DVS: "Again, the DVS video boards mark another technological breakthrough. Like all of our boards, the Atomix family delivers the highest reliability and stability to our clients. Processing uncompressed 4K image material in real-time, Atomix perfectly suits the demands of applications in the high-end film, HDTV post production and high-end presentation business. With its two channels and up to 2K capability, Atomix LT ideally fits in the broadcast market."
