Model 2024 24 Vdc vibration switch interfaces with variable speed drives for continuous monitoring and protection of industrial process machinery. When vibration limit is exceeded, relay trips and initiates alarm at control room or automatically shuts down VFD. Product comes with preset limit, which can be adjusted in-field. Limit output relay has NO and NC contacts, and 2 LEDs provide visual operational status. Automatic reset is also included.

Economical 24 VDC Vibration Monitor for Process Machinery
Balmac Inc. announces a new 24-VDC Vibration Switch that interfaces with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) for continuous monitoring and protection of industrial process machinery.
The Model 2024 mounts directly to a conveyor, motor, fan or pump and is connected to the VFD. When the vibration limit is exceeded, the 2024 relay trips and initiates an alarm at the control room, or automatically shuts down the VFD to prevent damage to the equipment or process.
The Model 2024 comes with a preset limit and is easy to install. Limit and Time Delay settings can be adjusted in the field. The limit output relay has both a Normally Open (N/O) and Normally Closed (N/C) contact. Two LEDs provide visual operational status. The 2024 features an automatic reset and is covered by a 2-year warranty.
