Designed to support KSI breadboards and optical tables, 500AP Series includes trifilar and quadfilar leg stands that respectively support 500-2,000 lb and 250-1,000 lb loads. Products are available individually as modular mounts or as leg stands with braces and casters. Class 100 cleanroom series offers natural frequencies of 1.25 Hz along horizontal axis and 1.50 Hz along vertical and can achieve isolation efficiencies of 98% (horizontal) and 95% (vertical) at 10 Hz and above.

New Internal-Pendulum Leg Stands Provide Superior Horizontal Vibration Isolation
BOSTON, MA - Two new vibration-isolating leg stands have been introduced by Kinetic Systems, Inc. (KSI). Designated the 500AP Series and designed to support KSI breadboards and optical tables, they are available individually as modular mounts, or as leg stands with braces and casters for optical tables. Their proprietary internal trifilar and quadfilar pendulum systems provide exceptional horizontal vibration isolation. This, combined with active-air suspension, gives users the highest protection against horizontal and vertical vibrations.
The leg stands can be configured to incorporate automatic leveling. They offer low natural frequencies - 1.25 Hz along the horizontal axis and 1.50 Hz along the vertical axis. They can achieve isolation efficiencies of 98% (horizontal) and 95% (vertical) at 10 Hz and above.
The trifilar leg stands are designed for heavier loads than previous models. They can support heavier equipment (500-2,000 lbs.), isolating it from ambient building vibrations caused by machinery, heating and ventilation systems, local truck or rail traffic, and other sources.
Quadfilar mounts have a load capacity of 250-1,000 lbs. and provide best-in-class horizontal vibration isolation.
Both types are also Class 100 cleanroom compatible. Braces and casters are available for leg stands from 14" through 32" high.
