Quadro® FlexSift, in-line, high-capacity, vibration-free sifter can be integrated below existing equipment or can be used as stand-alone unit. It is able to security screen APIs with varying screen/mesh sizes ranging from .006 in. for some products, with typical applications in .011-.009 in.

Security Screening of API's
Traditionally, a great percentage of international processors of API's have used large vibratory sifters to security screen various products through very fine mesh screens. However, sifting times can often span multiple days when sifting through very small meshes.
Quadro recently introduced the Quadro® FlexSift, a compact, in-line, high-capacity, vibration-free solution for today's efficiency-minded manufacturer. The FlexSift's compact design enables it to be integrated below existing equipment or as a stand-alone Unit. Its easy-clean design allows for rapid turn-around between products, thereby increasing the number of batches to be processed in a single shift.
The Quadro® FlexSift is able to successfully security screen API's with varying screen/mesh sizes ranging from 100 mesh (.006 in.) for some products, with typical applications in the 50 mesh (.011 in.) - 60 mesh (.009 in.). The capacities achieved with the FlexSift can dramatically reduce sifting times from days to hours.
The Quadro® FlexSift is able to security screen through even finer mesh screens than those used on a vibratory sifter, thereby improving overall product quality while successfully capturing all impurities.
