High Temperature Air-Cooled Vertical Inline Pumps

Dean Pump's RAV and RWAV Series product lines represent the highest quality and most cost effective air-cooled vertical inline pumping equipment currently available.

The RAV, designed specifically for use with hot oil, features three pump sizes (in ductile iron construction), capacities to 275 GPM (63 m3/hr), heads to 300 feet (92 m), maximum working pressures to 250 psig (1724 kPA), and maximum pumping temperatures to 650 F (343 C). The RWAV, designed specifically for use with hot water, ethylene glycol and propylene glycol, features the same sizes, capacities and heads, but with pressures to 450 psig (3103 kPA), and temperatures to 400 F (204 C).

The vertical inline design significantly reduces floor space and overall footprint required when compared to a traditional horizontal, end suction design and also lessens pump alignment requirements prior to start-up. The air-cooled design translates to NO EXTERNAL WATER COOLING REQUIRED for the bearings and mechanical seal, providing significant savings by eliminating additional, secondary utility and operating costs.

Both the RAV and RWAV are ideal choices for applications that include, but are not limited to, boiler feed, steam condensate return, HVAC, heat transfer, and a variety of hot oil and hot water applications.
