SpanTech Introduces the Spiral Elevator as One of the Most Cost Effective Units for Changing Elevations



GLASGOW, KY: SpanTech LLC in Glasgow, Kentucky, USA, has introduced its Spiral Elevator. The Spiral Elevator is useful for cooling, curing and time delays. The product rests stationery on the spiral chain and travels up or down, with speeds up to 250 fpm (76.2 mpm). A Variable Frequency Drive comes standard and no controls are necessary. No pressure is applied to the product so the Spiral Elevator is ideal for delicate items such as books, butter or other easily damaged items. The unit can handle a wide range of product sizes (up to 10" [254 mm] in height) with no adjustments necessary; the product group needs only to fit within the product size envelope for each unit. Both the feed-in and feed-out have four positions available. The unit is available for clockwise or counterclockwise operation and can be ordered with drum diameter up to 30" (762mm) and chain width up to 9.67"(245.6mm) The unit features a top-mounted motor for ease of maintenance.
