May 14, 2003 - Sonic Vent linear vent diffuser consists of mini-orifices with ultrsonically cut and welded edges that eliminate fraying. Cutting mini-orifices versus cut-and-sew process required with linear mesh vents retains product consistency and eliminates fabric surface imperfections. Vents are suitable for manufacturing and warehousing plants, athletic facilities, office buildings, restaurants, and other applications where indoor air quality is critical.

DUBUQUE, Iowa-DuctSox®, a leading manufacturer of American-made air dispersion products, has introduced the Sonic Vent, a linear vent diffuser offering the industrial and commercial HVAC market a more cost effective, quieter, and aesthetic fabric duct system.

Versus metal ductwork with registers, fabric duct linear vents utilizing mini-orifices offer a value-engineered cost savings and a laboratory-tested quieter air flow for manufacturing & warehousing plants, athletic facilities, office buildings, restaurants and other applications where IAQ is critical.

The Sonic Vent consists of mini-orifices have an ultrasonically cut and welded edge to eliminate fraying that's associated with other manufacturing methods.
