System receives data from height detection system positioned upstream, and relays case height to indexer. High-speed application can be accomplished using electric tamp assembly, which achieves throughput of 20 cases/min at approximately 150 fpm. Carton throughput may increase up to 45 cases/min when successive cartons are at or near max height.

Variable Height Module
ID Technology offers a height compensation system designed to label products of varying heights. A Model 250 Printer Applicator fitted with this module is able to label boxes ranging from 1β-40+β in height, at speeds up to 45 cases per minute. The high-speed application can be accomplished by using an electric tamp assembly.
The system is designed to take data from a height detection system, positioned upstream, sending case height to the indexer (±.25β). The trailing edge of the previous box triggers a sensor attached to the Model 250. The pneumatic assembly, travels down towards the product to apply the label. For applications requiring higher speeds, the electric assembly is utilized.
The electric tamp system can achieve a throughput of 20 cases per minute at approximately 150 feet per minute. Carton throughput may increase up to 45 cases per minute when successive cartons are at or near the maximum height. Although, the pneumatic assembly is perfect for applications where speed is not an issue
