Reduced Diameter OLFLEX® VFD SLIM with "Lapp Surge Guard" Insulation: First VFD Cable with UL & CSA TC Approval
Florham Park, NJ --Lapp USA, a Lapp Group Company, has introduced the first VFD cable with UL and CSA TC approvals in the U.S.
OLFLEX® VFD Slim is a reduced diameter shielded motor supply cable for variable frequency drives. OLFLEX®VFD Slim is designed with "Lapp Surge Guard" to hold up to the non-linear power distortions associated with VFD drives. This cable has a specially blended PVC jacket that is TC approved for both UL and CSA standards for 600 volts. OLFLEX® VFD Slim is UL Type TC-ER approved. (UL Type TC-ER stands for "exposed run" and is replacing the term "open wiring". It is a change in terminology only.) It is also approved for 1000 volts by ULAWM and is c(UL) TC and CSAAWM approved.
