April 18, 2007 - Based on Vickers(TM) DG4V3 design, MDG mobile directional control valve features closed-center parallel or series circuit that also can function as open-center circuit via unloading inlet options. Modular, sectional design offers flexibility to create custom, multi-function circuits via various inlet- and work-port options. While rated inlet flows for on/off and proportional actuation are 15.9 and 5.3 gpm, respectively, rated inlet and tank pressures are 5,000 and 3,000 psi, respectively.

Eaton Introduces New MDG Mobile Directional Control Valve


EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. ... Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation has introduced a mobile directional control valve based on its industry-leading Vickers(TM) DG4V3 design.

Eaton's new MDG valve features a closed-center parallel or series circuit that also can function as an open-center circuit via unloading inlet options. Its modular, sectional design offers versatility to create custom, multi-function circuits through the use of various inlet- and work-port options.

Typical applications include on/off control for positioning/engaging of multiple auxiliary mobile functions.

Specifications for the MDG valve include:

Rated inlet flow
60 LPM (15.9 Gallons Per Minute) on/off actuation
20 LPM (5.3 GPM) proportional actuation
Rated pressure
Inlet-350 bar (5,000 Pounds Per Square Inch)
Tank-210 bar (3,000 PSI)
