Original Press Release:

ASCO Introduces Valve Monitoring Systems for the Process and Automation Industry

ASCO Valve Monitoring Systems (AVMS) are a combination of visual indicators and network communications designed to provide improved reliability and safety for your process valves, while meeting the rugged requirements of the process industry.

ASCO Valve Monitoring Systems are available in rotary or linear actuation with resin or low copper aluminum bodies and highly visible 360 degree indication. Patented Viper proximity switches using internal magnet and switching elements provide improved set point accuracy while simplifying maintenance

ASCO 8000 Series Pilot Valves have been designed exclusively for valve actuation. Each low power poppet valve has built in flow control and uses ASCO's integrated Slip-Lok(TM) connector which makes connection to any instrument housing with a standard NPT conduit hub quick and easy.

In addition, each AVMS is available with onboard ASI, DeviceNet, or ProfiBus communications.
