April 8, 2003 - Captured O-Ring Barbed Fittings combine mechanical fit of metal-to-metal connections with static sealing qualities of O-rings, creating leak-proof seals. Designed to screw into suspensions and retain their position, even under constant vibration, units have machined grooves for O-ring that will not break and flare out when tightened. Units are available in 10–32 UNF through 1/8 in. thread sizes with Buna-N O-rings.

Vacuum Suction Cup Fitting Captured O-Ring Provides Tight Seal
A new series of vacuum suction cup fittings that feature a captured O-ring to provide a leak-proof, tight fitting seal and retain its position, even under demanding applications, is being introduced by Anver Corp. of Hudson, MA.
The Anver Captured O-Ring Barbed Fitting combines the reliable mechanical fit of a metal-to-metal connection with the static sealing qualities of an O-ring to create a leak-proof seal. Designed to screw into suspensions and retain its position, even under constant vibration, it has a machined groove for the O-ring which will not break and flare out when tightened.
Available in 10-32 UNF through 1/8" thread sizes, the Anver Captured O-Ring Barbed Fitting features a Buna-N O-ring and the grooved design simplifies installation by eliminating the need for replacement gaskets or washers, because the seal is already properly positioned to create a tight fit. A wide variety of suspensions and vacuum cup types and materials are offered.
