Vacuum Rubber Injection Machine Eliminates Entrapped Air and Gas

Cleveland, OH: Technical Machine Products, a global manufacturer of machinery for the polymer industries, has introduced the newest models of its Vacu-Jetâ„¢ Vacuum Rubber Injection Molding System. Using TMP's patented vacuum molding system, the Vacu-Jet press eliminates or minimizes the entrapment of air or gases that cause defects in molded products.

The Vacu-Jet machines utilize a FIFO (first in-first out) system that allows the first material introduced to be the first material injected. This assures proper residence time for the material and a high level of shot consistency.

Vacu-Jet injection molding systems are available in a number of models with injection capacities of 500cc to 10,000cc and with clamping forces from 100 to 1,500 tons. Platen sizes range from 16" x 16" to 44" x 44".

All Vacu-Jet machines are equipped with TMP's proprietary IPS Control System. Developed and supported by TMP technicians, the IPS controls are user friendly and assure total process control, accuracy, repeatability and process monitoring.

According to John Clark, vice president of TMP, "The Vacu-Jet system provides many advantages, including reduced cycle time, lower scrap rates, cleaner molds, reduced mold flash, improved material flow and less heat loss. In addition, the IPS controls reduce the chances of operator error and result in higher productivity."
