Guardian® II Variable Speed Drive Optimizes Oil & Gas Well Production

Willis, Texas - R&M Energy Systems, part of the Fluid Management Group of Robbins & Myers, Inc., offers the Guardian® II Variable Speed Drive (VSD), an advanced technology digital solution for effective oil and gas well production control. The Guardian II VSD is specifically designed to operate artificial lift systems in the harshest conditions with maximum efficiency and flexibility.

The Guardian II provides continuous feedback of torque, speed, pump efficiency, fluid rate and estimated down-hole pressure. This feedback allows the Guardian II to maintain effective pump control to protect the rod string and pump from over torque conditions, enhance operational efficiency and maximize production.

Guardian II is easy to install and start up and readily adaptable to changing well conditions. Its operational simplicity reduces the level of technology comprehension needed.

Other Guardian II VSD features include:

o Simple, easy-to-use operator interfaces
o Easy implementation into existing SCADA networks
o Adaptable to any type of legacy system to reduce the effort required to configure backend systems
o Minimizes downtime using an integrated PCP Speed Controller to diagnose, prevent, adjust and repair problems, reducing trips to the wellsite
