July 26, 2010 - Installed as standard Windows virtual COM port, Windows® WHQL-certified M7 series is available with MINI-B USB connector and uses internal FTDI FT232R for USB-to-Serial conversion. This eliminates need for external USB-serial bridge and enables emulation of various RS232 data signals. Able to work with USB 1.1 and 2.0 host and hub ports, data radio directly connects M7 to HMI in wireless SCADA systems and comes with Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows CE device drivers.
