WeighPack's Brand New Dual Servo- Driven VFFS


March 8, 2007 - WeighPack Systems Inc. has recently upgraded their popular high speed VFFS bagger series. The XPDIUS is better than ever and is now available in full stainless steel models (XP800, XP1200) suitable for applications like candy, nuts, grains, cheese, pasta, pharmaceuticals and more.

Now equipped with and additional servo motor controlling the pneumatic sealing jaws, the operator is able to electronically adjust the opening of the jaws to increase production speed by 30% versus the previous models.

The most cost effective VFFS on the market, the XPDIUS can run different plastics and producing a variety of bag types including gusset, pillow bags and stand-up pouches. It can package virtually any type of product in bags ranging from 3" (W & L) to 16"(L).

This intermittent motion VFFS bagger operates smoothly and accurately controls and positions the film on the bag former thus guaranteeing exact cut-off lengths. No more wasted film means huge savings on film expenditures.

Featuring a user-friendly touch screen control panel that is easy to operate and will save time and money spent on operator training. Easily interfaced with most scales and multi-head weighers to form a complete weigh/fill system, the XPDIUS will speed up the packaging process increasing production output and productivity.

Options such as code dating, gas flush, hole punching and gusseting attachments are available to meet each customer's requirements.
