Introducing The New John Deere Gator(TM) High-Performance Series Utility Vehicle

John Deere extends its utility vehicle line with the introduction of the Gator(TM) High-Performance Series (HP) - designed for customers needing the highest levels of performance, durability and versatility. Tough hauling and transporting jobs require an even tougher utility vehicle, and the HP Series is ready for virtually any challenge. The HP Series includes five new models, the Gator HPX, HPX 4x4, HPX Diesel, HPX 4x4 Diesel and the Trail Gator HPX 4x4 - all designed to flank the existing Gator lineup and create a new standard of work-related performance. With a 1,300-lb. payload capacity, rugged front and rear suspension, and the industry's only Hydroformed steel frame, the HP is built for true commercial-grade work. This new vehicle will easily handle a full day of work over rough terrain while providing excellent comfort for the driver and passenger. All models have a top ground speed of 25 mph with a two-range transmission that allows for superior low-speed pulling capabilities. High-performance, all-purpose tires come standard to absorb bumps and provide a smoother ride. Other features include all-wheel hydraulic disk brakes; a 12V DC outlet; and a standard, hand-operated rear differential lock. Gator(TM) HPX, HPX 4x4 The Gator HPX and HPX 4x4 are both equipped with 20-hp, 4-cycle Kawasaki gasoline engines. Standard features on all models include a front bumper, 12V DC outlet, cup holders, glove box, hourmeter (records use to ensure regular maintenance) and a convenient storage compartment. Gator(TM) HPX Diesel, HPX 4x4 Diesel The Gator HPX and HPX 4x4 are both equipped with 784cc (20-hp), 4-cycle Yanmar diesel engines. Standard features on all models include a front bumper, 12v DC outlet, cup holders, glove box, hourmeter (records use to ensure regular maintenance) and a convenient storage compartment. Trail Gator(TM) HPX 4x4 The Trail Gator HPX 4x4 is equipped with a 617cc (20-hp), 4-cycle Kawasaki gasoline engine. In addition to the standard features listed above, the Trail Gator comes with high-performance, all-terrain tires; brush guard; and a fully enclosed clutch to provide the ability to traverse even the roughest terrains.
