3000 TWENTY Series Mid-Chassis Models a Perfect Fit for First-Time Buyers and Seasoned Veterans
CARY, N.C. – As the compact utility tractor industry continues to grow and change so do customer needs. Today customers are taking on new tasks and are looking for a tractor that is reliable, affordable, versatile and easy to use. John Deere listened to these needs and has responded with the TWENTY Series.
In spring 2004, the world was introduced to the new line of John Deere Compact Utility Tractors with the debut of the large-chassis 4000 TWENTY SERIES.
John Deere is now proud to introduce the newest addition to the tractor lineup, the 3000 TWENTY Series. The 3000 TWENTY Series offers four new models, the 3120, 3320, 3520 and the new “high-horsepower” 3720 that range from 30 to 44 gross horsepower. These tractors feature powerful, Yanmar, Tier II compliant diesel engines, while the 3520 and 3720 include turbocharged performance for more powerful and efficient operation. Operators will also find a selector to engage PTO at mid-point, rear-point and both concurrently.
Many of the same patented features of the 4000 TWENTY Series are also found on the 3000 TWENTY Series. The new performance tracking system allows operators to monitor all tractor functions, such as the starter protection circuit and electronic air restriction indicator, with the touch of a button while offering operators a familiar automobile-style console for controls. Standard options include Dual SCV, loader joystick and 4WD, making these tractors “loader-ready.”
Two transmission options present buyers with a simplified product offering. The 12F/12R PowrReverser™ allows operators to change directions quickly and easily without clutching through use of a lever. A hydrostatic transmission, the eHydro™, is an advanced electronic operating system providing infinite speed selection and unmatched productivity with no clutching or shifting required. The eHydro system offers superior operator convenience with a number of features:
• LoadMatch™ prevents stalling by continuously balancing the power required to complete a job.
• MotionMatch™ controls rollout when you remove your foot from the hydro pedal.
• SpeedMatch™ (optional) sets a maximum speed regardless of how far you depress the hydro pedal. Ideal for speed-sensitive operations.
• Cruise Control maintains a constant speed on undulating terrain.
• Automotive-style cruise (optional) allows acceleration, deceleration and resumption of speed with the touch of a button.
The PowrReverser is available on the 3320 and 3520; the eHydro is available for all models.
Like the entire TWENTY Series, the 3000 TWENTY Series offers best-in-class attach ability with a myriad of attachments and the iMatch™ 3-point hitch which allows operators to switch implements in seconds. Available attachments include quick-attach loader and bucket, mid-mower and backhoe with patented Rockshaft Assisted (RSA) attaching.
John Deere supports the TWENTY Series reliability with a three-year/2,000-hour limited warranty, offering two years of full product coverage up to 2,000 hours and third-year engine and powertrain coverage up to 2,000 hours.
