Innovative user experience engine and workflow management tool transform operator efficiency.
RALEIGH, N.C., -- Elster Solutions today announced the first release of the CallistoUX(TM) user experience engine. CallistoUX is an application, layered on the EnergyAxis® AMI system to provide virtual integration of multiple applications through a single portal, as well as creation and management of work flows.
Using the CallistoUX engine, users who work with multiple software applications during the workday can quickly create more efficient working patterns and improve access to system data that would otherwise be many clicks away.

Unlike many enterprise applications, the CallistoUX workflow engine does not require the utility to change its task-related processes; rather, the workflow engine is designed to be customized and adapted to reflect the utility's business processes.
The CallistoUX innovation makes task organization simple, enabling the user to quickly access the desired screen in any web-based application, regardless of how many layers deep that screen is buried. By organizing the cards in the CallistoUX engine, the user is able to monitor disparate systems and move quickly between applications without losing context. An administrative console is available for managing the user groups and pre-assigning cards to users, giving administrators complete oversight and planning capabilities.
More importantly, the cards can be built into work flows. By enabling the utility to capture and codify the best practices used to accomplish routine activities, the CallistoUX workflow engine can quickly improve efficiency, reduce training time, and ensure consistent, high quality results--each and every time an employee performs the task.
