Fremont, CA (September 22, 2009) - Phihong, one of the most trusted names in power electronics, has improved the energy efficiency of both its PSAA60M universal 3-wire input adapter series and its PSAA60W universal 2-wire input adapter series. Ideal for portable equipment, networking, peripherals, and gaming machines, the low-cost adapters are available in 12-, 15-, 18-, 24-, and 48V single output models; all of which are now ENERGY STAR® EPS Version 2.0 (Level V) compliant.

The adapters also meet Class B EMI standards and feature cUL/UL, CE, TUV, and CB safety approvals and markings, as well as over-voltage and short-circuit protection with automatic reset and over-current protection.

Featuring low profile, non-vented, spill-proof cases, the PSAA60M and PSAA60W Series' measure 5.12" x 2.36" x 1.3" and terminate with a 2.1mm x 5.5mm center positive DC output connector. Each weighing 10.58 ounces, the adapters are rated for operation from 0°C to +40°C.
