April 27, 2009 - Custom unfiltered audio connectors - waterproof and polarized, with 5- or 6-pin electrical plugs/receptacles - are suited for military and civilian communication applications where harsh conditions are present. They meet all requirements of MIL-STD-810F, including sand and dust, salt, fog, high-altitude operation, and fungus resistance, and can also be designed to survive immersion up to 20 m.

Fairview, PA - April 20, 2009 - Spectrum Advanced Specialty Products now offers unfiltered audio connectors built IAW MIL-DTL-55116. Spectrum's connectors are waterproof and polarized, with five or six pin electrical plugs/receptacles. These custom unfiltered connectors are ideal for military and civilian communication applications where harsh conditions are present.

Spectrum's custom audio connectors meet all the requirements of MIL-STD-810F including sand and dust, salt, fog, high altitude operation and fungus resistance. These unfiltered audio connectors can also be designed to survive immersion up to 20 meters.

Spectrum Control's custom unfiltered audio connectors have pricing ranging from $20 to $100 depending on configuration and quantities required.
