Featuring shoulder seal, piezoelectric pressure sensor Type 6045Ax can be installed in M8x0,75 bore and is interchangeable with cooled sensor Type 6041Ax. Sensitivity of -45 pC/bar is possible due to use of PiezoStar® crystal, and further design features help minimize thermal shock and sensitivity shift. Suited for onboard use in over-the-road engine tuning, product can also be used for thermodynamic investigation and knock measurement.

With the new piezoelectric pressure sensor Type 6045A..., Kistler offers an M8 high-temperature pressure sensor with very high sensitivity and excellent thermodynamic characteristics. Featuring a shoulder seal the Type 6045A... can be installed in a M8x0,75 bore and is interchangeable with the cooled sensor Type 6041A... .
Using the new PiezoStar® crystal a high sensitivity of -45 pC/bar is possible and further design features ensure low thermal shock and reduced sensitivity shift.
The Type 6045A... is an excellent all-rounder and can be used for both thermodynamic investigation and knock measurement. As an uncooled design it is ideally suited for onboard use in over-the-road engine tuning.
