Ultrasound Inspection Software converts PCs into FFT analyzers.

Press Release Summary:

Targeting facilities maintenance managers, Spectralyzer v4.0 features harmonic cursers that are set by numerical values. Program enables fast Fourier transform analyzer and time wave to be viewed simultaneously, while view in cascade waterfall provides added perspective. Frequency can be viewed in Hertz or cycles per minute. Other features include annotations for anomalies, ability to export reports into simplified file formats, and ability to customize graphs and save parameters.

UE Systems Announces Spectralyzer 4.0 Upgrade for Digital Ultraprobe® Users

June 30, 2009 - UE Systems, Inc., developers of the Ultraprobe 10,000, the most advanced digital ultrasound inspection system, is pleased to introduce the improved Spectralyzer 4.0, a powerful diagnostic software tool that converts PCs into a fully functioning Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analyzer. The 4.0 is now even more effective than its previous version, featuring new analytics and reporting capabilities that improve the diagnostic process, thus making it easier to use and more accurate than ever.

Alan Bands, UE Systems VP of Marketing says, "The Spectralyzer 4.0's new functions are a great asset to facilities maintenance managers. Among the improved features are harmonic cursers that are more easily controlled and can be set by numerical values. However, the most important asset is the convenience of exporting reports into simplified file formats."

Mr. Bands continues, "The new version of the Spectralyzer 4.0 will elevate the ultrasound inspection program to a whole new level by enabling the FFT analyzer and Time Wave to be conveniently viewed simultaneously, while the view in the Cascade Waterfall provides added perspective." Additionally, frequency can be viewed in CPS (Hertz) or CPM (Cycles Per Minute). Other functions include the ability to customize graphs and save parameters, customized backgrounds for easier printing, and annotations for easy-to-pick anomalies.

UE Systems has been setting the standards of ultrasound technology since 1973, and has been recognized as the worldwide leader in the technology of airborne and structure born ultrasound inspection. Producers of Ultraprobe® ultrasonic inspection guns, UES provides the tools for enhancing any PdM program including the need for essential energy conservation techniques.
