September 15, 2008 - Featuring non-invasive, clamp-on design, Sono-Trak(TM) includes SS quick clamps and heavy-duty, urethane-coated cables. Using NEMA 6-rated transducers, Sono-Trak measures liquids for pipe sizes from 2-100 in. with accuracy of ±0.5% of rate and repeatability ±0.1% of rate. Meter can process temperatures from 40-400°F and measurable flow velocities for liquids from -40 to 40 ft/sec. Plug-and-play I/O modules enable custom electronics configuration and/or field upgrades.

EMCO Flow Systems Offers User-Friendly Ultrasonic Flow Meter


LONGMONT, CODesigned for a user-friendly flow measurement experience, the EMCO Flow Systems Sono-Trak(TM) transit time flow meter is ideal for clean fluids.

Users will benefit from a quick installation - typically 30 minutes or less - with the flow meter's non-invasive, clamp-on design, stainless steel quick clamps and heavy duty, urethane-coated cables. Users will also enjoy a quick set up with the patented, menu-driven EZ-Logic(TM) user interface and easy-to-read, blue backlit display.

Plus, the flow meter provides plug-and-play input/output module options (pulse, analog, relay, RS-232, RS-485, BTU and data logger), enabling custom electronics configuration and/or field upgrades with the minimum effort. Additionally, the standard infrared communication port can be used with optional Windows®-compatible software.

Using only one set of rugged, NEMA 6-rated transducers, the Sono-Trak flow meter measures liquids for pipe sizes from 2 in. to 100 in. with accuracy ratings of ± 0.5% of rate (factory tested) and ± 0.1% of rate repeatability. The flow meter can process temperatures from 40°F to 400°F and measurable flow velocities for liquids from
-40 ft/sec to 40 ft/sec.

Sono-Trak transit time flow meters are also available in fixed or portable, battery-operated models.
