May 14, 2004 - Series DTTS Small Pipe Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Transducers, designed for use with Transit Time Flow Meter systems, fit pipe sizes from ½â€“2 in. With no moving parts, they are suited for clean liquids as well as liquids with moderate amounts of suspended solids or aeration. Products clamp on outside of existing pipe systems to obtain accurate flow measurement. When paired with flow meters, units display instantaneous flow rates and totals.

Dynasonics New DTTS Transit Time Small Pipe Clamp-On Ultrasonic Transducers
Racine, Wi., May 1, 2004: Dynasonics unveils the new Small Pipe Ultrasonic Clamp-On transducers for use with their current Transit Time Flow Meter systems. The DTTS transducer set is capable of measuring pipe sizes ½" [12 mm] to 2" [50 mm], and is ideal for clean liquids as well as liquids containing moderate amounts of suspended solids or aeration.
The DTTS small pipe ultrasonic flow transducers allow accurate flow measurement on closed pipe systems by clamping onto the outside of existing pipe systems. This clamp-on feature allows for quick, easy and cost-effective installations. The DTTS series transducers pairs with the Dynasonics transit time flow meters, including the Series TFXD and Series TFXL Fixed Location systems, as well as the Series TFXM Multiple-pipe, Multiple-path flow meter system to display instantaneous flow rates and totals. This small pipe flow transducer was designed for applications with liquid conditions that damage mechanical flow meter operation.
