Strapped onto exterior of any pipe with ½ in. ID or larger, DFM 4.0 Doppler Flow Meter measures flow of liquids such as wastewater, sludge, slurries, abrasives, or any liquid with bubbles or suspended solids. In addition to built-in 3-button keypad used for calibration and start-up, features include 4-digit display, 16-digit totalizer, isolated 4-20 mA output, and 3 control relays. VFD interference suppression is automatic for pump station applications.

Non-Contacting Flow Meter
This new DFM 4.0 Doppler Flow Meter from Greyline Instruments measures flow from outside a pipe. The strap-on ultrasonic sensor mounts on any pipe ½" ID or larger. Greyline recommends the DFM 4.0 for "difficult" liquids like wastewater, sludge, slurries, abrasives or any liquid with bubbles or suspended solids. Calibration and start-up is simple with the built-in 3-button keypad.
Standard features include a large, 4-digit display, a 16-digit totalizer, isolated 4-20mA output and 3 control relays. VFD interference suppression is automatic for pump station applications. Options include a built-in 50,000 point data logger and reporting system with RS232 output and Windows software, intrinsically safe and high temperature sensors.
