February 18, 2004 - Xenon Excimer UVA Light Sources consist of aperture lamp and 24 Vdc inverter that provides irradiance of 6 mW/cm² typical at distance of 10 mm from aperture. Featuring instant light within a few milliseconds and instant restrike, units have no electrodes and are rated for more than 10,000 hr of lamp life. Operating from –30 to +85°C, regardless of ambient, lamps produce 365 nm max with minimal heat, and come in lengths from 120–350 mm.

Xenon Excimer UVA Light Sources: Mercury-Free With Instant On and Restrike
A new line of linear Xenon gas discharge lamps and inverters that provide a UVA light source that is mercury-free and long-lasting is being introduced by Gilway Technical Lamp of Woburn, Massachusetts.
Gilway Xenon Excimer UVA Light Sources consist of an aperture lamp and a low voltage 24 vdc inverter that provides an irradiance of 6 mW/cm² typical at a distance of 10 mm from the aperture. Featuring instant light within a few milliseconds and instant restrike, these mercury-free UVA light sources have no electrodes and are rated for >10,000 hours lamp life.
Designed to produce intense UVA radiation with a maximum around 365 nm and minimal heat, Gilway Xenon Excimer UVA Light Sources operate from –30° to +85°C, regardless of ambient. Lamps are available 120 to 350 mm long and the inverter measures 135L x 40W x 28H mm. Applications include photopolymerization curing-, photocatalytic air purification-, and inspection systems.
